JUNIORS & COLLEGE DOUBLES PROGRAMS

THE LADDERS DOUBLES LEAGUE (GIRLS / YOUNG WOMEN)

• Join the East Coast's largest juniors' beach doubles league!  Whether you are a middle-school indoor player, a high-schooler, or a college-aged player, we have a court for you to enjoy the sun and sand, while leveling up your skills in all aspects of the game.

• Two-hour sessions on Sundays at noon, 2PM, 4PM and 6PM, starting the beginning of May through end of June.

• Subs and absences allowed for conflict weeks.

THE LADDERS DOUBLES LEAGUE (REVERSE-COED)

• Join one of the only co-ed juniors (and college-aged) beach doubles league in the country!  Compete to climb the ladder while leveling up your attacking, serving and defensive skills.

• Now allowing girls/women's teams!

• Two-hour sessions on Fridays at 4PM and 6PM starting around the 2nd week in June through July.

DROP BY ANY-TIME

• Any time all courts aren't used for scheduled events, courts may be used for free, first come - first served.

• Bring a ball, however, we try to keep some balls available in the container by the gate entrance for your use.  Usually there is one standard beach volleyball and one or more lightweight balls for youth.

• Grass nets are not allowed at the Brookline ballpark in order to repair the grass.  An alternative location at the Mountain Road ballpark is available for grass net use.

ADULT PROGRAMS

ADULT: NEWBIE & REFRESHER CLINIC - TAKING REQUESTS PRIOR TO SCHEDULING

• This clinic is for adults new/young to volleyball or who would like a refresher on the basics in a low-pressure environment.  Have a great time, meet new friends and learn the basic techniques for playing 6-6 volleyball, with actual play time each session.  Many of last year's crew have joined leagues, drop-in play and even have organized play opportunities for newer players.  

• The second session of the clinic will be scheduled for Monday's in July or August depending on demand.

ADULT: MY SOCIAL SPORTS RECREATIONAL 6-6 LEAGUE  - REGISTRATION OPEN!

• Sign-Up deadline for next session is July 12th.  Session starts July 15th.

• Two eight-week sessions on Wednesday's from ~6 to 8 PM.  Sign up as a free agent or as a team.

• No experience necessary!  May split league into multiple levels depending on number of teams.

ADULT & HIGH SCHOOL: DROP-IN PLAY

• Every Tuesday from 5PM to dark (officially) starting April 28th to September/October

• For adults and high schoolers targeted at intermediate level or higher (Yankee level C- to C+, with exceptions on both ends).

• Two courts of 4-4 or 6-6 and one court reserved for doubles. Once there are too many teams waiting on the doubles court, this court will switch to king/queen of the court so players aren't sitting waiting for multiple games to end. 

• Bring a ball if you have one. 

• COST: $5/player ($20 for season pass). Venmo preferred for payment. Pay SNHsandvolleyball. In notes, include "Drop-In Play", date and full name of player. (6199 is last four digits of phone if asked by Venmo).

• No sign-up necessary.

ADULT: SUMMER SHOWDOWN 4-4 TOURNAMENT - REGISTRATION OPEN!

• Saturday, August 15th from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM.  Sign up as a free agent or as a team.

YOUTH AND OTHER PROGRAMS

YOUTH: INTRO TO BEACH VB - REGISTRATION OPEN!

• The goal is to introduce your child to the great sport of volleyball in a fun, safe environment, while teaching them the basics.  We lower the net way down so they experience lots of success. 

• Boys and girls, 6-11.

• Monday / Wednesdays, July 13 - July 29

"ALL IN THE FAMILY" PLAYER-PARENT SAND 2-2 TOURNEY - REGISTRATION OPEN!

SUMMARY: Player and parent team up to compete in a half-day sand doubles volleyball tourney.  There's a division for all skill levels.  A great time was had by all in the previous tourneys!  

• Tentatively Sunday, August 2nd, 3:30 PM to 8 PM

• Competitive and recreational divisions; men's/boy's division if sufficient sign-up

• $60/team - Venmo details below

DETAIL:

• DIVISIONS: Depends on registrant mix. Likely divisions:

• Competitive Division: Both players are experienced.  For example, parent is trained playing with a current or past college, varsity or strong JV player.

• Recreational Division: One player is experienced.  For example, 1) current or ex-playing parent with MS or less-experienced JV player or 2) experienced player with parent who has limited training or experience.  Rules will be relaxed.

• Father-Son Division: If we have a sufficient number of teams.

• FORMAT: Coed net height (halfway between women's and men's height).  Pool play followed by single elimination playoffs (some teams may not qualify for playoffs).  Trophies for the top teams.

COURT RENTAL

• Sand courts can be rented for events or regular use (end-of-club-season parties, team practices, tournaments, birthday parties, etc.) for $20/hour/court.

• Includes set-up of nets & lines per specification (small court for 2's, large court for 4's or 6's, net height)
