Adult Newbie  & Refresher Clinic

ADULT NEWBIE & REFRESHER VOLLEYBALL CLINIC

We introduced this clinic in 2025 and it was a big hit!  We've run four sessions.

• This training is for adults new or returning to volleyball.  No need to worry about looking foolish - most will be novices!  Targeted for people who would like to learn or re-learn the proper basic techniques for playing 6-6 volleyball and get an opportunity to use it during each session, all in a low-pressure, friendly environment.  Intermediate players are finding it a great way to refresh skills and shake off the rust.

• The next two-hour training will run on four consecutive Mondays in May/June 2027.  Send an email to len@SNHsandvolleyball.com in order to get a reminder.

• The cost is $80/player for the set of four sessions.  There is a $20 discount for a spouse/partner.  It will consist of training combined with play.  Coaching will be provided by Len Sheppard and other experienced coaches.

• The techniques taught are equally applicable to indoor and sand volleyball and will include under and overhand serving, passing, setting, spiking, roll shots, tipping, defense and rules.

• This is a great stepping-stone to the 6-on-6 My Social Sport Adult League described on the main page.  Multiple new teams ahve been formed from players from these clinics.  If you're a parent of a volleyball player, this is a great way to experience the joys and challenges of their sport.
